Audio Annunciation from Command Centre
When a Gallagher output fires, the right clip plays on the right speaker - without a dedicated audio server, paging console, or scheduler.
The Audio Bridge is an ACAP that turns Axis network audio devices (C8110 and family) into Gallagher-aware annunciators. It subscribes to Command Centre outputs, alarms, or schedules and triggers per-event audio clips via the device's native mediaclip API. Configuration lives on the device - there is no separate audio middleware to install or maintain.

The technical surface.
What it does, said plainly.
Per-event clip mapping
Map any Gallagher event source (output, alarm, schedule) to a specific clip, with priority and pre-emption rules.
Native mediaclip playback
Uses the device's built-in mediaclip.cgi - supports the same clip library you already use for paging.
Completion ack
Optional acknowledgement back to Gallagher when a clip finishes - useful for evacuation and drill workflows.
Per-device API key
Each device authenticates against Command Centre with its own scoped key. No shared secrets.
How it's wired.
- 01Axis C8110 (or compatible) - runs ACAP
- 02ACAP subscribes to Gallagher CC outputs / alarms
- 03Event → clip selection → mediaclip.cgi playback
- 04Optional completion event back to Gallagher
